About YupNope

YupNope is a basic, no frills, binary opinion service. There are no complex rating systems, no 5 stars, no 1 to 10. Whenever you want to express your opinion, you have two choices; Yup or Nope. And there is no way to discuss or explain your choice. You just have to choose.

We are fans of simplicity and most of the current social voting sites are far too complex for our liking. Not that all the features they have aren't useful for a lot of people, but what we wanted was just a site where we could enter a simple idea, thought, question, news story, or whatever and express our binary opinion about it. We also wanted to see what other people were thinking about and make our own choice about those things. We didn't want to talk ad nauseum and debate with everyone. We just wanted to say Yup or Nope to whatever things entered our minds and move on.

While we will continue to tweak YupNope and perhaps add a few features here and there, we are going to be very careful to limit what this site does. We will never be a place for people to have endless discussions about random subjects. We'll never be a place where people can explain their opinions and give people context about how they feel. There are lots of places for people to do that on the net and frankly, we just don't care. We hope you enjoy using YupNope as the simple binary opinion service it was meant to be.
